This beautiful park is situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park and is well managed and maintained by the welcoming staff. The 60 touring pitches are open and unshaded, on gravel hardstanding with 10A electricity, water and drainage. There are some seasonal units and three mobile homes, pods and a shepherds hut available for hire. Tucked away in a valley are privately owned mobile homes. Two areas have been set aside for 80 tent pitches, 25 of which have 6A electricity hook-ups (steel pegs required). There is no automatic barrier, but the gates are closed to both campers and caravanners 23.00-07.30, with a warden on site for emergencies.

Two blocks of toilets and showers are heated and very clean. Full accessible sanitary facilities and excellent baby room. Four private bathrooms are available for hire (min. 3 days), and one by the hour (with refundable deposit). Laundry. Motorhome services. Small well stocked shop. Bar, restaurant and takeaway (weekends only in low season). Refurbished games room. Large outdoor adventure play area (recently refurbished) is set secluded to one side of the tourers, not fenced as a public footpath runs through to Moor How. WiFi in bar and games room (free).

Directions to Park Cliffe Camping & Caravan Estate

From M6 exit 36 take A590 to Newby Bridge. Turn right on A592 for 3.6 miles and turn right. Site is signed shortly on the right. It is vital that caravans and trailers approach Park Cliffe only from the direction of Newby Bridge on A592 - extremely tight turn from north. The park does not advise the use of sat nav to reach it.
