Alan Rogers Review of Naturcaravanpark Tisens
Naturcaravanpark Tisens is a new site, open all year and located amidst orchards in tranquil Alpine surroundings. It is a 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Tesimo (Tisens) and midway between Merano and Bolzano (both 14 km. distant). The 89 touring pitches are of a good size (around 90 sq.m), all with 6A electricity, water and drainage. A number of larger pitches and ‘panoramic’ pitches (120 sq.m) are also available. The site’s 25 m. heated swimming pool and the smaller children’s pool (also heated) are surrounded by meadows, ideal for sunbathing, with fine mountain views on all sides.
Off site, there are miles of excellent walking and cycle tracks close at hand, and cycle hire is available on site. The village of Tisens (Tesimo) is located on a plateau 650 m. above sea level. This is a peaceful spot, surrounded by chestnut groves and some of Europe’s most ancient vineyards.
Facilities at Naturcaravanpark Tisens
Impressive, heated toilet block. En-suite accessible facilities. Small but well stocked shop, bar/restaurant with open terrace and takeaway (all March-Nov). Heated swimming pool and paddling pool (April-Oct). Bicycle hire. Playground. WiFi throughout (charged).

Approaching from the A22 motorway and Brenner Pass, take the Merano Sud exit and follow signs to Lana.
