If you are camping with a tent (no caravans or motorhomes accepted) and looking for some authentic, back-to-nature camping in the Slovenia’s Upper Sava Valley, consider this peaceful, laid back site. In a woodland location with around 100 unmarked pitches, there is an outside kitchen with a stove, clean toilets and showers and several fireplaces where you can cook your own food. The staff are happy to advise on local activities, mainly hiking, climbing and cycling. It is only a short walk (500 metres) to the town of Kranjska Gora, where you will find bars and restaurants (you’ll need a torch to find your way back!). If you prefer to travel light, the site has a choice of rental accommodation.
Facilities at Natura Eco Camp
Three showers, four washbasins and three WCs, which may come under pressure in July/Aug. Eco dishwashers. Campers’ kitchen with gas stove. Communal barbecues. Organised trips. Occasional communal dinners. Dogs are accepted. Safari tents and 'tree houses' to rent.
Directions to Natura Eco Camp
On road 201 approaching Kranjska Gora, cross bridge over river. Pass exit sign for town then look for small turn off on right signed Galerse. Follow road through forest to site.
