Muasdale Holiday Park has a beachside location with fine sea views and islands between Campbeltown and Tarbert on Kintyre’s west coast. This is a small, friendly site with just ten pitches for touring units, five for tents and one used for a caravan holiday home to rent.

The pitches are situated on a level grass field, all with unobstructed sea views. All have electrical connections. You are advised to anchor tents and awnings securely as the winds are sometimes strong and gusty. The beach is a magnificent expanse of white sand with rock pools and an abundance of wildlife. The sunsets are frequently breathtaking. Sea canoeing and sea fishing are both popular.

The site prides itself on its ‘get away from it all’ nature. There are very few amenities here but there is a well stocked village shop just 100 m. away. There is no bar or restaurant. Barbecues are permitted on site, and campfires are also possible on the beach, provided that proper care is taken.

The newly built toilet block is clean and heated. Laundry facilities. Games room. Direct beach access. Sea swimming and fishing. Canoeing. WiFi (free). Accommodation to rent.

Directions to Muasdale Holiday Park

Approaching from Glasgow (Erskine Bridge), take the A82 towards Crianlarich, past Loch Lomond. At Tarbet take the A83 towards Campbeltown, through Inveraray, Lochgilphead and Tarbert (Loch Fyne) and on to Muasdale Village, from where the site is well signed.
