This well developed site, south of Livorno, is fashioned out of a very extensive area of natural undulating woodland (with low trees) famous for wild boar. The fact that the site is cleverly divided into separate areas for families and couples, including those in touring units, shows the owner’s desire to reduce any possibility of noise for families on the site. There are 372 pitches for touring units in separate clearings with shade, most of a good size, plus 200 large caravans to rent along with ten bungalows. Electricity (5A) is available in all parts (long leads are required for some pitches).

There is a well stocked supermarket with newsagents. The restaurant is extremely good and offers a Tuscan menu. A piano bar operates at times in season along with various other entertainment in July/August. This is an attractive site which has been developed with great style. The owner is keen to please his clients and has tried to think of most needs. It is 4 km. from the sea at the nearest point, but there are two large free pools on the site with a separate paddling pool. A miniature botanical garden is at the centre of the site and further small gardens around the centre and pool areas. There is much to see in this area including the cities of Florence and Pisa.

Top quality sanitary blocks have hot water throughout and individual cubicles with shower, washbasin and WC. Baby baths in the two main blocks. Self service laundry service. The village also has a wonderful Restaurant that offers a tuscan and Italian menu, a take away service, a poolside bar and a Minimarket. Three swimming pools and a Laguna pool for kids. Tennis and footbal pitches. Fitness field. Infopoint that sells excursions and tours. Medical service. Free WiFi in the commercial areas.

Directions to Montescudaio Village

From Genova-Livorno autostrada take Rosignano Marittimo exit. Take highway (Livorno-Grosseto) towards Roma and exit for Cecina. Follow signs for Guardistallo (important: not Montescudaio). Site is on Cecina-Guardistallo road, 2 km. from Cecina.
