This is a large, well-managed site tucked away among the dunes and just a stone's throw from the beach and the waves. Children are well catered for with an excellent indoor/outdoor pool complex, restaurant and small theatre/recreation hall, and a friendly, safe environment. The 200 touring pitches have some shelter from the hedging and small trees and are marked and numbered but not divided. All have electricity (10A), and 75 are fully serviced with electricity, water, drainage and TV connection. There are also seasonal pitches and mobile homes to rent.
Away from the lovely beach, explore the beautiful Coepelduin dunes and the amazing bulb fields in spring or visit the wonderful historical towns of Leiden, Haarlem and Delft. The old fishing village of Katwijk is charming and on a smaller scale. Family attractions such as Corpus, Duinrell, Madurodam, Space Expo, Sea Life and Archeon are also within easy reach.
You are escorted to an allocated pitch and sited in a formal layout, with cars parked away from the pitches. However, with the super pitch your car can be parked on the pitch. Bicycles can be hired on site plus the nearby Space Expo is well worth a visit. The beaches are inviting and offer numerous possibilities for long walks and cycling tours.
Facilities at Molecaten Park Noordduinen
The three sanitary blocks are modern and clean, with washbasins in cabins, a baby room and accessible facilities. Laundry. Motorhome services. Supermarket with fresh bread daily, bar, restaurant, takeaway (usually April-October). Recreation room. Swimming pool complex. Organised entertainment (High season). Play area. Only gas barbecues are permitted. Dogs are not accepted.
Directions to Molecaten Park Noordduinen
Leave A44 at exit 8 (Leiden-Katwijk) to join N206 to Katwijk. Take Katwijk Noord exit and follow signs to site.
