Flevostrand is a family site with direct access to Lake Veluwe’s sandy beach. All pitches are situated on spacious, grass fields offering ideal opportunities for children to play. You can choose between the area inside the dyke (with 10A electricity) or the beach site (6A electricity) directly at the waterfront. The site has a large marina with a pier and slipway, from where boat launching is possible (boat hire is available). There are various play areas and heated indoor and outdoor pools, and a full bar/restaurant with terrace enjoying beautiful views over the lake.

Flevostrand (Flevo beach) is located on land reclaimed from the sea and was developed in the late 1960s. Despite this recent history, trees have matured rapidly in the area, and there are some good walks in the adjacent Wolderwijd forest. Alternatively, and in stark contrast, the Walibi Holland theme park is nearby, and a little further you will find the old fishing port of Harderwijk, dating back to 1230.

Directions to Molecaten Park Flevostrand

From A28 motorway take exit 26 (Harderwijk/Lelystad) and follow signs to Lelystad (N302). After you have crossed the bridge (4.5 km), take first right turn at the roundabout towards Kampen (Harderdijk). Follow this road to Kampen and turn right after 3 km. Site is well signed.
