Lobb Fields is a stunning four star caravan and camping park set within North Devon’s UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It has two camping areas providing 180 pitches on sloping grass, with a few hardstandings. Seventeen pitches are reserved for seasonal caravans, 107 have 16A electricity hook-ups and 10 are on hard standing. A third field is open for campers for 28 days only in high season. The pitches are marked and grass roads lead to the amenities, and as the two toilet blocks are at the very bottom or very top of the fields, some up and down walking is inevitable. With the village of Braunton and Saunton Sands right on the doorstep and the beautiful Croyde, Putsborough and award-wining Woolacombe beach just a short drive along the coast road, you’ll never be stuck for choice when it comes to finding new adventures. There is everything you need for the perfect holiday, from fully equipped laundry rooms to showers with unlimited hot water, glamping tents for hire with all the trimmings and surf equipment hire on-site!
Braunton village, Saunton Sands, the famous Tarka Trail for cycling, Baggy Point for walking, the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve at Braunton Burrows (one of only 13 similar special reserves in the country), Marwood Gardens, and windsurfing and water-skiing on the Taw estuary are just some of the many attractions within a short distance of Lobb Fields. If you just want to sit and relax, then the pitches at the park offer views of the Taw estuary and Saunton, as well as magnificent sunsets.
