Little Trethvas is perfectly located for exploring all the Lizard Peninsula's attractions - stunning sandy beaches, coastal walks, scenic drives and some of Cornwall's prettiest little villages. For children, there's a chicken and guinea pig hugging event in the school holidays and a climbing tree for supervised active children. The caravan and camping fields are very level and have water supplies and optional electric. Both fields are enclosed by Cornish hedging, so animals and children won't escape. The site has 29 grass or hard standing touring pitches and most have electric hook-up point 16amp. The site also has bell tents, holiday cottages, mobile homes and a shepherds hut available for rent.

There is plenty to do around Little Trethvas Holidays, from fishing and sailing to horse riding and off-road biking. As with much of Cornwall, the surf is spectacular around this part of coast too, but it's quieter here than more famed surf spots like Newquay. Children will love Flambards Theme Park at Helston and have a hoot at Gweek's Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Falmouth Maritime Museum and the 650 birds and animals of the Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary at Hayle. One of the most popular places to stop off around the Lizard is the country's tip at Land's End and another is most lovely St Michael's Mount, the tiny island with medieval church and castle, reached across the water from Marazion.

Directions to Little Trethvas Holidays

From Helston follow signs for Flambards Theme Park and join the A3083 to Cross Lanes, Penhale, and Ruan Major. After Mount Hemon turn left onto a minor road signed Grade and the site is on the right off this road.
