Camping Le Pô Doré is a nice site in a quiet area, situated to 7 km from Saumur in Maine-et-Loire and on the wine trails of the Loire, come to discover a Caribbean universe close to the Saumurois. Lovely large, marked pitches some with water and power. Shower blocks clean but unheated with doors wedged open and no paper. Expect this is a very popular site in season. The site owner Sabine or her husband can’t be more helpful nothing is too much trouble. The site and toilets are spotless. The natural swimming pool is not heated and is lined with white sand, the whole area in an exotic decoration. The aquatic complex is the unique copy of the region of Anjou, and the sand beach effect is great. There is no onsite entertainment. The small bar /restaurant is good. In the surrounding area there are many vineyards. The has 86 pitches, comfort and comfort+. 46 grass/hardstanding are for touring units with 10amp hook-up point and 13 are seasonal. There are also 26 mobile homes available to hire.

The site is at the heart of the national park Region the Loire Anjou Touraine, in a friendly and family atmosphere. Rest and relaxation are assured. Close to pedestrian and cycle routes. The site arranges animations during July and August.15

Location

From the A85/E60 at junction 3, at the roundabout after the toll station, take the third exit to join the D10. Follow this towards Allonnes. The site is then signed to your right off this road.
