Le Parc du Gué is situated at the edge of the Forest of Fontainebleau only 12 km. south of a stunning château. It is set in a natural environment amongst mature trees and beside a lake, however swimming is not permitted. There are 159 pitches of which just six hardstanding pitches are available for touring units. All six have electricity (6A) and two enjoy a lake view. At the entrance to the site is a modern, clean and very smart reception and swimming pool. Most of the site is occupied by mobile homes and chalets either to rent or privately owned but maintenance of these needs to be improved. The ageing sanitary block is 300 m. from the touring area with little or no lighting on the roads so torches are required.

Facilities

One traditional style heated sanitary block with washbasins in cabins and mainly British style toilets. Accessible facilities. Motorhome service point. Swimming pool with no depth markers. Play area (3-12 year olds). Pétanque. Basketball. Fishing. WiFi on part of site (charged). Vending machines. Reception closed on Sundays and Wednesdays. Torches required. WIFI,

Location

A6/E15 exit 15, take D607 north, at roundabout turn right onto D40D, third junction left (Route de Montigny). On entering Montigny-sur-Loing turn right onto Rue Aime Lepercq, then first right over bridge. Campsite signed on left.
