Alan Rogers Review of Le Domaine de Pécany
Pécany is a parc résidentiel de loisirs. There is a range of attractive chalet accommodation to rent here, as well as fully equipped safari style tents. All units are located on large pitches (at least 200 sq. m). Please note – there are no touring pitches here. The park is two km. from the small town of Le Buisson-de-Cadouin, at the heart of the Périgord. This is a spacious park with a good range of amenities including two swimming pools, a badminton court and a children’s playground. A number of delightful walks can be undertaken in the vicinity of the site.
Most of the Dordogne’s best known sights are located within easy access of the park. The magnificent medieval town of Sarlat is always popular and hosts some of the region’s best markets. Timeless villages such as Beynac, Domme and La Roque Gageac all merit a visit. The site is close to the confluence of the Dordogne and the Vézère, with many great opportunities for canoe trips.

Approaching from the west (Bergerac) on D29, continue as far as Le Buisson de Cadouin. Continue towards Siorac-en-Périgord on D25 and the site is clearly indicated to the right, two km. beyond Le Buisson.
