Ferme des Saules is a family-friendly site, half a kilometre from the Belgian border and 20 minutes' drive from Ypres. Guests are welcome to wander the farm during opening hours to meet the chickens, goats and pony, or you could work your appetite up further with a pre-dinner game of boules while the children enjoy the playground or trampoline. The site is a few kilometres from Bailleul for foodie options at its restaurants, bistros, bars and speciality shops. You can reach the town within a 5 minute drive, a 15 minute cycle or a 45 minute walk. The site has 34 pitches of which 20 are for tourers. The bollards 6 amp take a 2-pin connector, so do not forget your adaptor. The site also has a cottage, hut, gîte, mobile home and 'Cozy Nest' available to rent.

A charming small family run site, with delightful owners, situated on the Mont Noir in French Flanders near the Belgium border. A superb site where you can buy local produce from the farm shop in the courtyard. The site is ideal for those who are looking for an overnight stop before venturing further into Europe. It is also a perfect location for visiting Ypres, Lille and Vimy Ridge. The picturesque local town, Bailleul, is well worth a visit in its own right and has a busy market on Tuesdays.

Directions to La Ferme des Saules

From the A25 motorway, exit 10, take the city centre of Bailleul. In the centre, take a right at the red light (towards Mont-Noir, Ypres), D223, then take a right (towards Mont-Noir), D23. On this road, it is the first farm on the left.
