Alan Rogers Review of La Ferme des Aulnes
This peaceful site has been developed on the meadows of a small, 17th-century farm on the edge of Fresne and is lovingly cared for by its new enthusiastic owners, Marie and Denis Lefort, and their hard working team. Restored outbuildings house reception and the facilities, around a central courtyard that boasts a fine heated swimming pool. A new development includes a bar and entertainment room. Outside, facing the main gate, are large, level grass pitches for touring. There is also an area for tents. The remaining touring pitches are in the main complex, hedged and fairly level.
Activities are organised for children and there are indoor facilities for poor weather. From here you can visit Crécy, Agincourt, Saint Valéry and Montreuil (where Victor Hugo wrote Les Misérables). The nearby Bay of the Somme has wonderful sandy beaches and many watersports.

Both sanitary blocks are heated and include washbasins in cubicles, with a large accessible cubicle. Motorhome services. Shop, piano bar, restaurant and takeaway. TV room. Swimming pool (16x9 m; heated and with cover for cooler weather, all season). Jacuzzi and sauna. Fitness room. Aquagym. Balnéotherapy. Playground. Boules. Archery. Fishing. WiFi throughout (free).
