A large family holiday site right beside the sea, Klim Strand is a paradise for children. It is a privately-owned site with a full complement of quality facilities, including a fire engine and trained staff! The site has 460 numbered touring pitches, all with electricity (10A), laid out in rows, many divided by trees and hedges, with shade in parts. Some 220 of these are extra-large (180 sq.m) and fully serviced with electricity, water, drainage and TV hook-up. On-site activities include an outdoor water slide complex, an indoor pool, tennis courts and pony riding (all free). A wellness spa centre including a pirate-themed indoor play hall is a recent addition.

For children there are numerous play areas, an adventure playground with aerial cable ride and a roller skating area. There is a kayak school and a large bouncy castle for toddlers. Live music and dancing are organised twice a week in high season. Suggested excursions include trips to offshore islands, visits to local potteries, a brewery museum and birdwatching on the Bygholm Vejle.

Two good, large, heated toilet blocks are central, with spacious showers and some washbasins in cubicles. Separate room for children. Baby rooms. Bathrooms for families (some charged) and accessible facilities. Laundry. Well equipped kitchens and barbecue areas. TV lounges. Motorhome services. Pizzeria. Supermarket, restaurant and bar (all season). Pool complex. Wellness centre with sauna, solariums, whirlpool bath, fitness room and indoor play hall. TV rental. Play areas. Crèche. Bicycle hire. Cabins to rent. WiFi over part of site (charged).
