Killegruer Caravan Site is situated on the West coast of Kintyre,12 miles North of Campbeltown and 24 miles South of Tarbert, Loch Fyne. It overlooks a sandy bay with unobstructed views of Gigha, Islay and Jura. These islands can be reached on a day's visit from the site. It has a modern toilet and shower block with accessible facilities. It's close to transport links and offers a friendly atmosphere. The site caters for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, and all are pitched on the foreshore overlooking the beach. #

There are 55 pitches of which 35, on grass or hardstanding, are for touring units with electric hook-up point 16amp. A mobile home is also available to hire. Excellent stopover en route to Arran, Ardrossan or Islay from Kintyre. Nearby facilities include village shop, post office, garden centre and cafe, public house and restaurant. Please note this site is not suitable for lightweight tents, strong pegs recommended.

Directions to Killegruer Caravan Site

From Glasgow, take the M8 heading towards Greenock, as far as the Erskine Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs for Campbeltown and the A82. The A82 will take you along Loch Lomond where it becomes the A83.Take the A83 and continue to follow the signs for Campbeltown. Killegruer site is 1 mile south of Glenbarr and approx. 30 minutes’ drive from Tarbert, Loch Fyne.
