Just opposite a road that runs alongside the beautiful Danube river, this small site has only 40 pitches (all for tourers and with 4A electricity) and two static units. It is owned by the Honti Hotel 50 m. down the road and this is where reception is located. It is attractively landscaped with low trees, shrubs and flowers. The good sized pitches are arranged on well kept, grassy lawns, separated by hedges in the middle field. Between the hotel and the site a new pool complex has been built complete with indoor and outdoor pools, a pool for children, massage rooms, a hot tub, salt caves and infrared cabins.

From some pitches there are good views of Visegrád Castle, once the home of King Mátyás Corvinus. Some road noise can be heard from the main road that runs to Budapest. Blue Danube is a good base for exploring the historic towns of Visegrád with its castle and thermal spa, Esztergom with its cathedral and Szentendre, a beautiful old town. It is also just 40 km. from Budapest, the Hungarian capital. Just opposite the site, a ferry will take you across the Danube and the site rents canoes for trips on the river.

Adequate prefabricated type toilet block with British style toilets, open washbasins and controllable showers (free). A new toilet block is planned. Basic kitchen with electric cookers and fridge. Bar/restaurant to the front of the site. Fishing. Canoe hire.
