Alan Rogers Review of Kamp Klin
With an attractive location surrounded by mountains in the Triglav National Park, Kamp Klin is next to the confluence of the Soca and Lepenca rivers, which makes it an ideal base for fishing, kayaking and rafting. The campsite has 100 pitches all for tourers, 50 with 16A electricity, on one large, grassy field, connected by a circular, gravel access road. It is attractively landscaped with flowers and young trees, which provide some shade. Some pitches are right on the bank of the river (unfenced) and there are beautiful views of the river and the mountains.
Kamp Klin is privately owned and there is a ‘pension’ next door, all run by the Zorc family, who serve local dishes with compe (potatoes), cottage cheese, grilled trout and local salami in the restaurant. From the site, one can drive to a parking place and explore the Triglav mountain and its beautiful viewpoint with marked walking routes. Like so many Slovenian sites in this area, this is a good holiday base for the active camper.
Facilities at Kamp Klin
