Alan Rogers Review of Hvidbjerg Strand Camping
A family-owned TopCamp holiday site, Hvidbjerg Strand is on the west coast near Blåvands Huk, 43 km. from Esbjerg. It is a high quality, seaside site with a wide range of amenities including a large wellness facility. Most of the 570 pitches have electricity (6/10A) and the 130 ‘comfort’ pitches also have water, drainage and satellite TV. To the rear of the site, 70 new, fully serviced pitches have been developed, some up to 250 sq.m. and 44 with private sanitary facilities. Most pitches are individual and divided by hedges, in rows on flat sandy grass, with areas also divided by small trees and hedges. A member of Leading Campings group.
On-site leisure facilities include an indoor suite of supervised playrooms designed for all ages, with Lego, computers, video games, TV, etc. and an impressive, tropical-style indoor pool complex. This includes stalactite caves and a 70 m. water chute, the ‘black hole’ with sounds and lights, plus water slides, spa baths, Turkish bath and a sauna. A Blue Flag beach and windsurfing school are adjacent to the site and the town offers a full activity programme during high season.

Five superb toilet units include washbasins, roomy showers, spa baths, suites with accessible facilities, family bathrooms, kitchens and laundry facilities. Bathroom for children decorated with dinosaurs and Disney characters, and racing car baby baths. Motorhome services. Supermarket. Café/restaurant. TV rooms. Pool complex, solarium and sauna. Wellness facility. Western-themed indoor play hall. Play areas. Supervised play rooms (09.00-16.00 daily). Barbecue areas. Minigolf. Riding (Western style). Fishing. Dog showers. ATM machine.
