Alan Rogers Review of Holme Valley Camping & Caravan Park
Holme Valley Camping & Caravan Park is a family-run park of 3 generations; Owners Philip and Hazel have turned what was once a derelict mill site into a caravan park. This area is a paradise for walkers, horse riders and cyclists with nearby reservoirs, each of them enjoying stunning views. There are also several canal towpaths nearby, ideal for cycling, or for a real challenge, head up Holme Moss, with breath-taking views.
The site is situated just a mile from Holmfirth with its wide range of individual shops, cafes, restaurants and galleries. The site has 62 pitches (some seasonal), most with an electric hook-up point. A selection of camping and glamping cabins are available to hire.
Onsite, children can enjoy a nature safari during spring & summer. Within 10 miles of the site are Eureka, The National Children’s Museum, the National Mining Museum, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Cannon Hall and Farm, Kirklees Light Railway and National Trust Wentworth Castle and Gardens.
