Holiday Resort Unity offers everything for the holidaymaker, from young children to the ‘young at heart’. Apart from the extensive on-site amusements and entertainment programme, campers can also use the swimming pools, funfair and other leisure pursuits at the adjoining Brean Leisure Centre (owned by the same family), for a small fee. Three large touring fields provide pitches that are flat and open, mostly grass but some on concrete hardstandings (for RV’s and motorhomes up to 30 ft, contact site). Most pitches have 16A electricity hook-ups. A separate warden looks after each camping field. New ready-erected euro tents and a substantial number of caravan holiday homes are available to rent.

Access to the five-mile stretch of sandy beach is via a footpath opposite the site entrance. Fishing (with a licence) is permitted from Unity Lake in the Yellow Field. RJ’s is a club (free for campers) with bars, food and nightly entertainment for the whole family. There is plenty of choice for either a sit-down meal (including a Sunday roast) or a takeaway in the Tavern restaurant.

Facilities at Holiday Resort Unity

Three good toilet blocks provide ample facilities and include en-suite bathrooms. Some toilets and washbasins have been adapted for campers (Radar key). Well equipped laundries. Motorhome services. Recycling station. Well stocked shop. Gas bottle exchange. RJ’s Club, Sarah’s Pantry, Alan’s fish and chip bar and Treasure Brean Chinese takeaway. Large adventure play area. Buster’s Work Out Gym, Sally’s sun beds. Tuesday car boot sale and Sunday market. All facilities open during high season, most open during mid season and at weekends in low season. Torches advisable at night. Max. 2 dogs. Bus and land-train services vary according to season.

Directions to Holiday Resort Unity

From M5 exit 22, follow signs for Burnham-on-Sea (B3140), Berrow and Brean. Holiday Resort Unity is on right along the main street of Brean – it is well signed. Take care as road through Berrow and Brean is rather narrow.
