Hedebo Strand camping is a family run site with a very warm and welcoming feeling. It has an enviable position on the Kattegat shore. Although it is a large site with 600 pitches, the 300 touring pitches are in a separate section, so it feels more compact. They vary in size (50-190 sq.m) and most have 13A electricity. The ground is slightly sloping with some shade from the hedges that back each row and from the pitches nearest the sea there are beautiful views over the Kattegat. Some hardstanding places are available. The pitches by the sea are much sought after and worth reserving. A footpath will take you to the charming town of Saeby. The owners have a private collection of 150 classic and vintage motorcycles, which guests can view free of charge.
Above the reception is a large campers’ kitchen with a dining room and terrace with good views. Two other kitchens are available and all facilities are very clean and well maintained. The children’s play facilities are very good, and in season occasional musical entertainment is provided. Hedebo is beside the beach and there are many opportunities for watersports, including boat launching.
