Grasmere Caravan Park in the Roman town of Caister is a quiet, family-run site which, whilst maintaining a personal and friendly service is looking somewhat tired. It is a quiet site, which doesn't offer on-site catering or entertainment, though there is a small children's play area. The site does make a suitable base for exploring the surrounding countryside, beach and Great Yarmouth along with the Broads and other local attractions.

Within a mile of the site, there are 4 public houses, 5 supermarkets with cashpoints, a butcher, a newsagent/post office, a chemist, plus a wide range of restaurants/takeaways. The site is suitable for caravans and motorhomes with 46 pitches, all with electric hook-up. Static caravans and chalets are available to hire.

Directions to Grasmere Caravan Park

Take the A149 from Great Yarmouth and enter Caister at the roundabout by Yarmouth Stadium. After 0.5 miles, turn left, just before bus stop. Signposted and immediately after end of terrace house colour washed blue. Note: if entering Caister from A1064 - as you approach Caister Parish Church you need to be in the left-hand lane. The right-hand lane is for traffic entering the Old Hall and the Lidl store only.
