Goksøyr Camping has pitches for your own tent, caravan or motorhome. There are also cabins available to hire. The site is beautifully located by the sea and right by the natural starting point for trips across the island. The site owners have a long history as permanent residents of the island and have hosted visitors for generations. On site you will find a shop with a rich selection of food and drink, maps, books, souvenirs and other items that help to enhance the hiking experience.
Goksøyr Camping also has a boat at its disposal which - weather permitting - can take you very close to the bird life by the cliffs on the bird mountain and into the caves that the sea has dug out of the cliffs. The site has 70 touring pitches, most with electric hook-up point 16amp.The are also log cabins available to hire.
The heated toilet block provides showers, wash basins and wc’s. Laundry with washing machine and dryer. Dish washing area. Baby room. Microwave. TV room. Disposal station for wastewater and toilet. Large filleting place for anglers. Pier with slipway for boats directly at the site. Small shop. Wi-Fi free of charge. Dogs are allowed. Defibrillator available. Fresh bread. Games room. The site is 35 miles from Orsta on the main land. from Orsta Head west towards Parkvegen Fv655. Now join E39. Continue to follow E39. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Fv653. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Fv61. Continue straight onto Fv654. Turn right to stay on Fv654. Turn left to stay on Fv654. Turn right onto Fv18. Continue onto Remøybrua Fv18. Continue onto Sæviktunnelen Fv18. Continue onto Rundebrua Fv18. Continue on Fv18 the site will then be on the right. NB the route involves a number of bridges.
