Nestled in the Churnet Valley, three miles south of the market town of Leek, a pleasant stay awaits you at this, well managed, family run park of six acres. The site has 84 pitches of which 40 are for tourers (mostly seasonal) with16A Europlug and a dedicated water supply. The rest are occupied by privately owned mobile homes. Pretty flowerbeds, trees and varied wildlife make a very pleasant environment. A fenced coarse fishing pool, this whole corner is enclosed by banks with an abundance of attractive shrubs and flowers. Cheddleton station, with working steam trains, is a short walk away.

Walkers should enjoy the Churnet Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the Staffordshire Way nearby. Within easy walking distance of Glencote are the Caldon Canal, the river Churnet and the Cheddleton railway station. Further afield are the factory shops and museums of the Potteries, with famous names including Wedgwood and Coalport, a number of antique shops in Leek and Alton Towers Theme Park. For the more energetic, canoeing, climbing and hang gliding opportunities are close as are several reservoirs for boating.
