Alan Rogers Review of Glebe Leisure Touring & Caravan Park
Situated in the tranquil countryside of Fringford on the borders of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Northamptonshire, Glebe Leisure Touring Caravan Park offers a peaceful escape spanning six acres. The site caters to a wide range of visitors with its diverse accommodation options, including 50 touring pitches for motorhomes, grassy areas for traditional camping. A major draw for the park is its two well-stocked fishing lakes, which are popular with both beginners and seasoned anglers looking to catch carp, bream, and tench in a scenic setting.
The site is equipped with modern, purpose-built amenities designed for comfort, featuring a clean toilet and shower block with disabled-access facilities, a coin-operated launderette, and an information room to help guests explore the local area. For those traveling with pets, the site is highly dog-friendly, offering a dedicated one-mile woodland walk and tracks to keep four-legged companions active.
Its strategic location makes it an ideal base for shopping trips to the nearby Bicester Village or for exploring regional landmarks like Blenheim Palace and Oxford, all while providing a quiet, rural atmosphere to return to at the end of the day.
