Lou Comtadou can be found 20 km. from Avignon at the foot of the Mont Ventoux. This is an area which is often considered to be the gateway to Provence. It is also a region of fine cuisine, lavender fields and wonderful sunlight, which has always attracted artists to this corner of the region. Lou Comtadou is open for a long season and has 97 pitches, some of which are occupied by mobile homes. The pitches are grassy and generally well shaded; all are equipped with 6A electricity. The site is close to the centre of Carpentras and forms part of a sports complex. Campers have access to the large municipal swimming pool and tennis courts.
Carpentras stands on the banks of the Auzon, a tributary of the Ardèche, and is an interesting town, frequently a residence of the Avignon popes. The site is very well placed for the Provencal Route des Vins, taking in Châteauneuf du Pape, Gigondas and Côtes du Ventoux.

Directions to Flower Camping Lou Comtadou
Approaching from the north, leave the A7 at exit 22 (Orange Sud) and follow signs to Carpentras on D907 and D950. On arrival in Carpentras follow signs to St Didier and then Complexe Sportif. The site forms part of this complex.
