Camping les Pins is a family site located on the edge of the popular resort of Saint Palais–sur–Mer. There are 230 pitches here, of which around 170 are occupied by mobile homes and chalets (including 48 units to rent). Most of the pitches are of a good size and have electrical connections (6A). On-site amenities include a swimming pool with regular aquagym sessions in high season. Other facilities include a shop and snack bar, with occasional themed evenings in peak season. The site’s entertainment programme is varied with karaoke evenings, happy hours, discos and concerts.

There is much to see in the area. La Palmyre’s zoo, the aquarium at La Rochelle and the highly impressive Napoleonic ropeworks at Rochefort are amongst the highlights. Discounted tickets for all these are available at reception. Saint Palais boasts some fine beaches on the Gironde estuary and these are better suited to younger children than the Atlantic breakers on the Côte Sauvage to the west of La Palmyre.

Directions to Camping les Pins

From Royan take the northbound D25 towards La Palmyre. Site is clearly signed at the first roundabout after leaving Royan.
