In the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Jura, le Martinet is in a rural setting on the banks of the River Tacon, with plenty of shade. It has 111 touring pitches, all with electricity connections (10A), including 18 with hardstandings. There are eight fully equipped wooden chalets for hire, including one adapted for those with reduced mobility, together with three more basic wooden cabins. The site is ideal for a peaceful holiday or as a base for exploring the surrounding mountainous countryside, on foot or on two or four wheels. In high season, evening entertainment is organised and the Aquatic Centre is open.

Shops, bars and restaurants are just along the road in Saint-Claude, whilst the energetic can choose from numerous activities in the area, including walking, mountain biking, canoeing, rock climbing, paragliding, canyonning and via ferrata. Days out could include Lons-le-Saunier or Bourg-en-Bresse, or alternatively the Lac de Chalain and the Cascades du Hérisson. The Swiss border and Geneva are just 60 km. away by the mountain route, or 80 km. if you choose the long way round.

Directions to Flower Camping le Martinet

St Claude is 115 km. east of Mâcon. From A6 motorway take A40 east, then head north on A404 to Oyannax and continue northeast on D31/D936/D436 to St Claude. Site is south of town and is signed.
