Flower Camping la Promenade is traditionally laid out and has 130 touring pitches (electricity 10A, 83 also with water and wastewater), ten mobile homes, three furnished tents and a roulette for hire.
Shaded by various trees, it stands on the left bank of the Loire between Angers and Nantes, close to the little town of Montjean-Sur-Loire, where a few bars, restaurants, and shops exist. The nearby town of Chalonnes-Sur-Loire provides alternatives, whilst historic Angers and its château are within easy reach. In the heart of the Pays de Mauges, this site could be an ideal base from which to explore its villages, châteaux and vineyards.
Perhaps the most relaxing way to enjoy the Loire is on one of the small boats departing from several points along the river, the nearest being a short walk from the site. In total contrast, a day at the remarkable historical theme park of Puy du Fou is thoroughly recommended. There are zoos at Doué la Fontaine and la Boissière du Doré and a working windmill at La Chapelle St Florent. The nearby Château du Serrant is beautifully furnished.

Directions to Flower Camping la Promenade
Montjean-sur-Loire is 28 km. south-west of Angers. From A11 motorway take exit 19 and head south on D18 (Beaupréau and Chalonnes-sur-Loire). Turn west on D723 (Nantes) then south on D15 to Montjean-sur-Loire. Cross Loire and immediately turn right to campsite on left in 700 m.
