Part of the Flower Camp Group, this is a lovely site on the West Coast of France between La Baule and Saint-Nazaire. It is a great location for touring the Loire-Atlantique region. The site is close to the beach, 300m in the small village of La Plaine -Sur Mer, very close to the fishing village of La Gravette, and just a short drive to the beautiful town of Pornic. On-site, there are 46 spacious touring pitches (6-Amp) that are level and divided by low established hedging. 

English is spoken, access is easy, and the facilities on this site are of a high standard. There are two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, with a water slide and a children’s play pool with a smaller water slide. All are heated to 26 degrees; in the aquatic area, you will find a sun terrace and sun beds to enjoy and relax. There is even a small library from which you can borrow books and games (as long as you can read French). During high season, children’s entertainment is run throughout the week. And if you are feeling peckish whilst staying here, you have a choice of dining at the campsite's restaurant or if you want to cook back at your pitch all the amenities needed can be found at the campsite's shop. The picturesque fishing village of Pornic is a short drive away and has a wider choice of shops and eating places.

The fashionable resorts of Saint-Nazaire and La Baule are just across the Loire estuary to the north, and beyond are more sandy beaches and coves, historic fishing villages and the medieval town of La Guérande with its salt marshes. The Ile de Noirmoutier is round the bay to the south. Walkers and cyclists can take advantage of marked paths through the attractive countryside or follow the ‘Vélocéan’ along the coast.

Directions to Flower Camping la Guichardière

La Plaine-sur-Mer is 60 km. west of Nantes. Site is 2.5 km. northwest of village. From N844 Nantes Périphérique at exit 52, follow Noirmoutier/Pornic D723 then D751 to Pornic. Head northwest on D213 St Nazaire, then turn west on D286 to La Plaine-sur-Mer from where site is signed.
