Enjoying a sheltered location amid mature oaks, La Cailletiere makes an ideal base for walks around the island, days out on the long sandy beaches and visits to the local markets. This well maintained, 4 hectare site has a total of 124 touring pitches. It is a quiet, rural setting on the edge of the village of Dolus, just 2 km. inland from the sea. Amenities include a swimming pool and a bar that is opened for July and August. The site organises entertainment for adults and children in high season. Bring your bicycle (or hire one on site) as there are numerous routes and villages to explore.

Whether you are enjoying the activities on offer at the port of la Cotinière, visiting the Chassiron lighthouse, the Citadelle at the Château d’Oléron or sampling the island’s famous oysters, the delights of the sea are all around you.

Directions to Flower Camping la Cailletière

Dolus-d’Oléron is north of Le Château d’Oléron. From the mainland, cross the (toll free) bridge at Marennes and head north on the D26 to Dolus-d’Oléron. Turn right on D126 and continue ahead at next island. Site is then signed on the right. Turning right, then right again to site on the left.
