Floreal Camping Colline de Rabais is a large site on a hilltop looking out over the surrounding wooded countryside. The Dutch owners offer a warm welcome and slowly improve the site while maintaining its relaxed atmosphere. There are around 220 touring pitches, all supplied with 16A electricity (some long leads needed), 46 mobile homes and bungalows to rent and a few tour operator tents. Various activities are organised throughout the summer months. An entertainment team keeps the children entertained during the day with games and creative crafts. In the evening, there are live shows and bingo.

The adjacent forest is open to walkers and cyclists alike – you can keep going without seeing another person. The French border is only 10 km. to the south if you fancy a taste of France, whilst the Duchy of Luxembourg is about 30 km. to the east, and its capital city is less than an hour’s drive away.

A similar distance to the northwest along country roads is the town of Bouillon, which has an interesting ruined castle and from where you can explore the green hillsides and valleys of the Ardennes and perhaps take a canoe trip along a section of the meandering river.

3 sanitary blocks, baby room, en-suite room with accessible facilities. Cleaning and maintenance can be variable; not all blocks are open in low season. Washing machines and dryers. Shop (seasonal). Bar/restaurant and takeaway (Apr-Oct). Small outdoor swimming pool (seasonal) with wood decking for sunbathing. Children's play area, Table tennis, football pitch, entertainment, Entertainment programme, Bicycle hire. Free WiFi over part of the site.

Directions to Floreal Campsite la Colline

Virton is 39 km. southwest of Arlon on E25/E411 Luxembourg-Brussels/Liège motorway. From exit 29 head for Virton. After Etalle, turn west for Vallée de Rabais, right at sports complex and at crossroads turn right up hill to site at end of road. From exit 31 take N82 for 22 km, then turn right for Vallée de Rabais and left to site.
