Family Camping is an attractive, (Dutch/German) family run site situated on a stretch of the River Mosel, with views of forest and vineyards. Most of the 100 touring pitches are separated by vines, they are mainly level, with 6/10A electricity hook-ups, and some have shade. There are 25 pitches with their own water tap and 27 tents available to rent. The site roads are relatively narrow and are not suitable for larger units especially American RVs or twin-axle caravans. On arrival you must stop in the lay-by on the approach road while booking in at reception.

A very popular site in July and August with many activities organised for youngsters, the site has a small outdoor pool and a children’s pool. There is direct access to the riverside path and cycleway and plenty of opportunities for good walks and cycling all around the attractive Mosel area. Good English is spoken.

Facilities at Family Camping

Well equipped, heated toilet facilities provide good sized showers (€ 0.50), washbasins mainly in cubicles or curtained. Good baby room. Accessible facilities, Laundry with washing machines and dryer. Shop, bar. Takeaway (1/5-15/9). Swimming pools (1/6-15/9, weather dependent). Play area. Disco evenings and wine tours in July/Aug. River fishing (with permit). Dogs are not accepted in July/Aug. WiFi on part of site (charged).

Site is 40 km. southwest of Koblenz on the eastern banks of the Mosel river. It is signed in the village of Mesenich.
