Alan Rogers Review of Ettie's Field

This is quite a unique family-owned site located in north Warwickshire. Those who know about this secluded and quiet campsite return year after year. Set on a slight slope amongst beautiful wildflowers, the site is laid out in an oval over 3 acres, creating a friendly atmosphere. Situated between Leicester and Birmingham, this is not only a great stop-over, but you will also want to stop over and relax and take in the atmosphere that has been created. However, booking is essential with only 25 pitches. This site is very eco-friendly and has won many awards, and you are expected to adhere to its eco-ethics when visiting.

As for facilities in the centre of the site, there are a couple of covered open log cabins, which you are welcome to use for picnics/barbecues or just getting together to enjoy the sunset over a couple of drinks. Toilet and shower facilities are excellent at the top of the site which are in six small cabins and are very clean. On-site, you will find check-in quick and easy and a small café serving teas & coffees and local cakes and Artisan bread, which are also sold in the on-site shop. There is also a gift shop on the site selling a unique range of gifts and clothing, which are all produced locally. The campsite also has many animals for the whole family to enjoy and interact with. Meet the highland cows, donkeys, Nubian goats, and Kunekune pigs. The campsite chickens, turkeys, and peacocks wander around the site. Plenty of footpaths can be accessed from the site, too, and a handful of pubs will be found within a 15-minute walk.
