Elm Cottage has an unusual facility for such a small site – a pizza oven, open most Fridays during July & August and all Fridays on Bank Holiday weekends. Bring along a drink & watch your pizzas being freshly made to order. In 2018 the site commissioned 'Creative Play' to design & build a new children's park.

A dog-friendly park, Elm Cottage welcomes well-behaved dogs and their owners! It has a large, dedicated dog walking area within the grounds where you can let your dog off the lead. Open all year; the site is suitable for caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents. A combination of camping, rally and seasonal pitches are available. The touring park has 35 pitches, all with electric hookups. Hard surfaced access roads lead to a mix of pitch types, including six fully serviced pitches (16 amp EHU) with generous gravelled surfaces, fresh water and grey waste facility, picnic bench, dustbin and night-time low-level lighting.

There are also 23 all-weather gravel pitches (10 amp EHU); 6 gravel for wheels pitches (where your van wheels are on a hard surface but you step out onto grass) (10 amp EHU) and 31 grass pitches with electric hook up and 26 non-electric grass pitches.

Proximity to the motor racing circuit at Oulton Park make this a popular site on race weekends with entertainment and food available in the barn.

Directions to Elm Cottage Touring Park

Do not use Sat Nav, some systems try and take you on a country lane called Park Road. From the west on the A54, cross the A49 to continue on the A54. The site located on you left just off the main A54 road. Elm Cottage (a white house with green windows) is at the entrance to the site. From the M6 leave at junction 18 to join A54 in the direction of Middlewich/Winsford. The site is then on your right after approx. 2 miles.
