Open all year, Domaine Les Nids Du Lac is 8 km. west of Épinal, at the start of the Vosges Massif. The 134 reasonably level grass pitches are separated by tall trees and neat hedging giving varying amounts of shade. There are 100 for touring, all with access to 6/10A electricity and water. They are on a gently sloping hillside above the lake with its sandy beaches.
In the high season, an extensive timetable of activities is arranged for all ages, especially teenagers, and the site will be very lively. Golf can be arranged at a local course with discounted rates. English is spoken.
Many watersports may be enjoyed, from pedaloes to canoes, windsurfing and sailing. The large, imposing building at the entrance to the site houses a restaurant and bar with terraces overlooking the lake, and an underground disco. Two bars by the lake would indicate that the lakeside is popular with the public in summer but the camping area is quiet, separated by a road and well back and above the main entrance. It is well placed for exploring the hills, valleys, lakes and waterfalls of the south of Alsace Lorraine.

The toilet block includes a baby room and one with accessible facilities (there are some gradients). A small, heated section in the main building with toilets, washbasins and showers is used in winter. Family shower room and facilities for children. Laundry facilities. Motorhome services. Shop. Bar (seasonal). Restaurant and takeaway (seasonal). Heated pool (high season). Fishing. Riding. Games room. Archery. Bicycle hire. Soundproofed room for cinema shows and discos (high season). Directions to Domaine Les Nids Du Lac
Site is 8 km. west of Épinal on the D460. From Épinal follow signs for Lac de Bouzey and Sanchey. At western end of Sanchey turn south, site signed.
