Alan Rogers Review of Domaine du Lac de Champos
Lac de Champos is a spacious park surrounding a nine-hectare lake. There are large grassy areas for recreation with fishing, bathing and boating (no motors) on the lake, all open to both the public and to campers. The public area of the park is at one end near entrance and the campsite at the other. There are 98 pitches close to the lake with 60 for touring units, some stony and some grassy. Most have some shade and 6/10A electricity (long leads advised). A separate sunny, level, tarmac area adjacent to a grassy public picnic area and overlooking the lake is available for motorhomes.
Facilities at Domaine du Lac de Champos
Two toilet blocks are on the campsite, one rather dated. They provide all necessary accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Bar and midday snacks (July/Aug). Games room with TV near entrance. Fishing, boating (no motors) on lake, canoes and pedaloes for hire (July/Aug and w/ends). Separate lake swimming area (supervised high season) with beach, paddling pool and large toboggan. Tennis. Some organised activities in high season. Charcoal barbecues are not permitted; electric barbecues for hire. WiFi at reception.
