If you really want to get away from it all this large (43 ha), quiet site tucked away in the hills above Vallon Pont d’Arc could not be a better choice. Situated two kilometres north of the village of Lagorce, it has 55 pitches, 35 of which are for touring (19 mobile homes/chalets for hire), the majority fully serviced (10-16A, Europlug). Arranged over terraces, all are flat, grassy and vary in size (150-300 sq m). They are split roughly into three areas - chalets, pitches close to the bar and some newer pitches a little further away on lower terraces. Most of these enjoy views to the hills beyond as do the infinity pool and sunbathing area.

The friendly owners have an in-depth knowledge of the area, a variety of walking routes and itineraries, and will be happy to assist with planning. They also own the surrounding 40 acres of land with its many walking routes. Throughout the season, a weekly dinner is arranged and all are welcome; these take place four nights a week in July and August. Occasional events such as pétanque tournaments are also arranged. The only choice you have to make is how much or how little you want to do.

Two sanitary blocks, one brand new (2015), heated with clean, modern and spacious facilities. Baby room. Accessible sanitary facilities. Washing machine and dryer. Small shop. Bread to order, baked daily on site. Bar. Snack bar. Pizzeria/rotisserie (July/Aug). Heated infinity pool (1/5-15/9). Small playground. Children’s clubs and family entertainment (July/Aug). Small football field. No charcoal barbecues, electric grill loan. Canoes and kayaks by arrangement. Rental accommodation including a large gîte with its own pool. WiFi over site (free).

Directions to Domaine de Chadeyron

Head north from Vallon Pont d’Arc on D1 to Lagorce. Site on left some 2 km. after village. Do not take the first left turn, but follow signs to next left, turn onto narrow, single-track lane. Site in 500 m.
