This tranquil base along the Scottish Border offers a chance to explore two countries and a prime location close to Carlisle. Bring your boots to explore Hadrian's Wall and bring the whole family to enjoy this dog and child friendly site. Handily based less than two miles from the M6, this park has excellent access and is walking distance from the Roman wall. It is surrounded by a country park and is full of vibrant greens. The level pitches are well kept and include both hardstanding and grass for tourers, along with a separate tent camping area. Whether you are bringing the caravan/motorhome or sleeping under canvas, you will have access to electric. The site has 27 pitches all with electric hook-up.
Site facilities include free hot showers, toilets and a recreation area. Facility for visitors who are disabled. Laundry. Gas sales. Chemical toilet point. TV reception good. Free Wi-Fi is available on site and cycle storage. Tents allowed. Motorhome service point. A bus service runs close by into the town centre. Charge for awnings.
Follow the M6 as far as junction 44 and then join the A7 heading north east towards Galashiels/Longtown road. The site is on right of the road after around 2 miles Brown sign on A7.
