Croft Farm is an AALA licensed Watersports Centre with Royal Yachting Association approved tuition available for windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and canoeing. The lakeside campsite has 140 level pitches, of which 70 are for touring units with 10A electricity hook-ups. There are 24 gravel hardstandings with very little shade or shelter. Facilities include a fully equipped gymnasium with qualified instructors and sauna. Sports massage, aromatherapy and beauty treatments are available by appointment. The clubhouse has an attractive lakeside terrace and there is a new slipway to the River Avon.

Activity holidays for families and groups are organised or you may like to participate in the ‘Husky Experience’ with sled rides. Campers can use their own non-powered boats on the lake with £10 launching fees, and there is river fishing. Climb Bredon Hill (2 miles) for a panoramic view of the Severn and Avon Valleys. Places of interest include the Malvern Hills, Bredon Barn, pottery and church, and the historic town of Tewkesbury with its abbey, theatre and indoor swimming pool.

Facilities at Croft Farm Waterpark

A modern building has excellent facilities with spacious hot showers. A heated unit in the main building is always open and best for cooler months; this provides further WCs, washbasins and showers, laundry and accessible sanitary facilities. Watersports centre has a shop and conference room. Café/bar (Fri-Sun low season, daily at other times). Takeaway. Gym. Playground. River fishing. Barrier key (£5 deposit). Fenced dog exercise area. Free Wi-Fi, whole site (can be very slow). Camping pods available for hire.

Directions to Croft Farm Waterpark

Bredon’s Hardwick is midway between Tewkesbury and Bredon on B4080. From M5 exit 9 take A438 (Tewkesbury), at first lights turn right into Shannon Way. Turn right at next lights, into Northway Lane, cross motorway bridge. Turn left into housing estate and cross second bridge. At T-junction turn right on B4080, site is on left opposite Cross Keys Inn.
