Cranberry Moss Caravan Park is set within rolling countryside and welcomes non-members. Formerly Oswestry Camping & Caravanning Club site, the park has 64 pitches on a mixture of grass and hardstandings and 54 with 16A electricity hook-ups. The site is calm and well sheltered, but pitches are open with flowerbeds interspersed with the grassed areas. Dogs are welcomed and provided with two designated walks. Oswestry, with its medieval buildings and an interesting mixture of shops, is a good base to explore the region. There is a bus stop at the gate for getting into Shrewsbury or Oswestry. A loop of the North Shropshire Way has been extended and is within one mile of the site, ideal for walking enthusiasts.

Shrewsbury and Oswestry are close by as are the National Trust properties, Attingham Park, Erddig Hall, Chirk Castle and Powis Castle, with Nesscliffe Country Park almost on the doorstep. Llangollen, Wrexham, Chester, Shrewsbury, Lake Bala, and Lake Vyrnwy are all within reach. This is a railway enthusiast’s heaven as there are at least five heritage railways in the area, including Cambrian Heritage Railway, Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway, Severn Valley Railway and Llangollen Railway. Two World Heritage Sites at Ironbridge Gorge and Froncysyllte are within easy reach.
