Concierge Camping at Ratham Estate opened a luxury touring park in 2015. Each generous pitch is framed with hedging for seclusion and privacy. Originally a working farm until the 1990s, the estate has three Grade II listed properties on-site, which include a chapel, the original water mill and a farmhouse. Hardstanding pitches of three sizes, including Emperor pitches with a day-living Safari tent. Luxury safari-style lodges are also available.

The Ratham Estate is situated in West Ashling near Chichester and is steeped in history; it is mentioned in the Domesday Book and originates from the 15th century. The current owners, Lord and Lady Hodgkin, purchased the estate in 2011 and are bringing it back to its former glory.

From its very first year, continuous improvements and high attention to detail led to the site being awarded the AA South East Campsite of the Year, plus a Premier Park and Best of British Holiday Park status. Continuous improvements and obsessive attention to detail have now led to the prestigious AA ‘Campsite of the Year’ England and Overall Winner 2019.

All pitches have hardstanding. 16amp power supplies. Fresh & wastewater. Enclosed grass recreation area. Satellite TV sockets. Fully equipped laundry, comprising of a washing machine and tumble dryer. Indoor dish-washing area. Luxury toilet and shower block. 2 late-arrival bays. Pets welcome. Electric bicycles are available to hire from a local supplier.

Directions to Concierge Camping

From the A27 Chichester/Portsmouth road take the B2146 towards West Ayling. Turn left into Ratham Lane and the site is then on the right.
