Comfort Camping Seeburger See lies on the outskirts of the small village of Seeburg and is only a few hundred metres from the largest natural lake in Lower Saxony. The site has a long season, from the beginning of March to the end of December. The area is surrounded by the rolling hills of the Southern Hartz Mountains.

There are 120 pitches with 95 for touring, all with 16A electricity. The undelineated, level grass pitches are laid out in groups in a meadow, with the groups separated by low hedges and a few trees give shade to some pitches. There is a separate area for tents in the centre of the field where the pitches are more open. This is a quiet rural area with many marked tracks, good for birdwatching, walking and cycling.

The lake is very popular with bathers, fishermen and those who love messing around in boats. On site there are several sporting activities including tennis with racquets for hire.

Two older style toilet blocks with all necessary facilities with provision for babies and accessible facilities. Washing machine and dryer. Baker with a few supplies. Bar/restaurant. Play area. Tennis. Volleyball. Boules. Multisports area. Children’s club (3-12 yrs), some family entertainment. Lake swimming with a grass sunbathing area, sandy beach with a separate area for small children. Small boat and pedaloes to hire. Bicycle hire. WiFi throughout (free).

Directions to Comfort Camping Seeburger See

Leave A7 autobahn at exit 72, about 115 km. south of Hanover. Take B27 east for 18 km. to outskirts of Ebergotzen. Take B446 southeast for 1.5 km. then K106 through Seeburg to site.
