At an altitude of 800 metres in the foothills of the Alps, Domaine des 2 Soleils could scarcely be in a more rural location. From the outskirts of the attractive town of Serres, it is reached along a winding country lane which climbs through pine woods. The lower part of the site has chalets and mobile homes for rent and looks out across fields and farmhouses. Sixty touring pitches with 6A electrical connections, are attractively located on sloping ground among a variety of trees and bushes, with the pool and leisure complex beyond. Forested hills form an impressive backdrop.

Serres stands on the River Buëch, with shops, bars and restaurants close to the river and quaint, narrow streets on the slopes above. Drive along the valleys and gorges of the river and its tributary, the Riou, and discover attractive villages, mountains streams and waterfalls. The nearest large towns are Sisteron and Gap, the historic capital of the Hautes-Alpes department. For the more adventurous there are many outdoor activities available nearby.

Serres is 110 km. south of Grenoble via A51 and D1075, and 135 km. north of Aix-en-Provence via A51 and D4075. Site is signed to the east, 500 m. south of the town. Continue 1 km. up steep and winding access road.
