Charmouth Camping & Caravanning Club site is ideally located to explore Dorset’s spectacular Jurassic Coast and many popular resorts, including Lyme Regis and Beer to the west and West Bay Weymouth to the east. Surrounded by rolling hills, the site offers spacious pitches in small clusters bordered by trees and bushes. If fossil hunting is on your holiday to-do list, visit the Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre for information. For days out, the beautiful Forde Abbey and gardens at Chard is a must. Abbotsbury Swannery is ideal for children or something different; enjoy the stunning Axe Valley from the Seaton Tramway’s hot pink narrow-gauge tram. The site has 150 grass or hardstanding pitches (some seasonal). Most with an electric hookup.

Directions to Charmouth Camping & Caravanning Club Site

From Axminster take A35 towards Charmouth. Take the first left after the Dorset border sign (350 yards). Site on left on this road. From the East and Dorchester on A35 turn right ½ mile after the end of the dual carriageway, signed Marshwood. The site is on the left on this road.

Do not take the Monkton Wylde turn-off, follow the brown caravan signs to site. Please use Scotts Lane if you are using a sat nav to get to the site.
