Alan Rogers Review of Carnon Wollas Touring Park
A quiet countryside Adult only (18+) and dog-friendly campsite. It is situated in Cornwall off the A39 between the cathedral city of Truro and the Maritime town of Falmouth in the village of Carnon Downs, making it a great location to explore.
All pitches have water, electric (16amp) and grey waste drain—hardstanding pitches with outstanding rural views. This site has beautiful views across Cornwall, although the site is on a slope all 25 touring pitches are level, open plan, well spaced out and fully serviced. If you have limited mobility you may find the slope difficult to negotiate, it can be quiet steep in places.
The site is surrounded by a network of footpaths, great for walking dogs and visiting the local pubs, near the coast-to-coast cycle trail. With bus stops from the village taking you to Truro and Falmouth, you can take one of the many ferry journeys to St Mawes or a trip down the Helford River.
There are lots of things to do while in Cornwall like a visit to the Minack theatre by the beautiful beach of Porthcurno or a trip to The Eden Project near St Austell or why not take a walk along the river Fal and enjoy the local country inns and much much more. Being close to the A 39 Falmouth and the Rosalind Peninsular are also only a 20 minute drive away, so this site makes an ideal location for touring Cornwall.

Follow the lane in to the double gates which are situated at the top of the site. Approach from Cannon Down involves a tight left hand turn so please take this wide, the short approach road is in poor state of repair so caution is recommended.
