Campingplatz Zum Fährturm is a campsite in Schweich, Germany, on the banks of the Moselle River, right next to the marina. The campsite has 155 pitches, of which 115 are for touring units, and electric hook-up points are available. Most pitches are spacious and delimited, but there are no hedges or trees to provide privacy or shade during the summer months. The campsite offers a range of facilities, including a children's play area as well as a Maritime restaurant and Hawaii bar, which is located in the old ferry tower. Enjoy local dishes on the restaurant terrace that overlooks the water and watch the boats go by. You can explore the surrounding area on the river by renting pedal boats, kayaks, and motor boats directly from the campsite. Directly adjacent to the campsite, you will find the municipal swimming pool with multiple slides and a toddler pool.

Schweich is a charming town with a historic center and a medieval castle, the Reichsburg . Take a stroll through the Old Town, visit the marketplace, and soak in the atmosphere. Visit the city of Trier which is the oldest city in Germany and is home to a number of Roman ruins, including the Porta Nigra, a Roman city gate. The city also has a beautiful cathedral and a lively Altstadt (Old Town). Trier is just a short drive from Schweich. The Mosel Valley is a famous wine region, and there are many wineries in the area that offer tastings. You can sample some of the local wines and learn about the winemaking process.
