At an altitude of 725 m. in the pleasant countryside of the Swabian Alb, this is a very large site, 90% being occupied by permanent caravans. There are about 150 pitches available to touring units. Most of these are for overnight or short stay visitors in a large field located outside the barrier, but there are a few inside the site for long term clients. All have electricity connections (16A) and the overnight section also has an area for tents.

A hotel/restaurant (open all year), although not actually on the campsite, is attached to it and directly accessible from it. The city of Ulm and Legoland are within easy reach. Being just off the A8 autobahn makes it an ideal overnight stop on the way to or from Munich, southern Bavaria or Austria.

Five good quality toilet blocks (one for the touring area) are all heated and well maintained. 25 bathrooms to rent plus three with accessible facilities, Some washbasins in cabins and free showers. Baby rooms. Laundry facilities. Motorhome services. Gas supplies. Shop with bakery. Bar and restaurant (at hotel). Swimming and paddling pools. Playgrounds. Children’s club (weekends in July/Aug). Minigolf. Bicycle hire. Max. 1 dog.

Site is 6 km. from exit 61. A8/E52 Stuttgart-Ulm autobahn. Follow signs for Blaubeuren from where the site is clearly signed.
