The Drewensee (2000 sq.m), popular with anglers, is connected to many waterways so this is a useful site for tourers who enjoy canoeing and motorboating. Nevertheless, boating regulations ensure that it is quiet. The site has around 150 level, grassy touring pitches. Most are well shaded beneath mature trees and all have 16A electricity. Two jetties are provided, one for boat users, the other for swimmers, and a grassed area bordering the lake is a popular relaxation area.

Like most of the campsites in this region, formally part of East Germany, the site is surrounded by mature forests and large areas of open water connected by numerous waterways. Touring by canoe is very popular over the entire region and canoe hire is found on most campsites. In addition, special areas on sites and generous discounts are available for those travelling by canoe.

Leave the autobahn at exit 18 Röbel/Müritzand and take 198 east to Wesenberg, continue through Wesenberg then on the outskirts of town southeast to Ahrensberg and site.
